BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW BILL CLINTON MOUTHES “THAT’S MY GIRL” CAN WE FUCKING TALK ABOUT THAT.
Listen, I voted for her, but in my heart I don’t know that I’ve had many moments of truly liking or admiring her. But this moment? This poise? This complete self-control (in a situation where sexist men would expect her to be falling apart)? I have never been prouder or more admiring of someone. I agree, Bill. That’s our girl.

Habits
Habits are a daily struggle for me. Overall, I do not have good habits. It takes a million alarms to get me out of bed, I stress eat, and can’t focus to save my life. I’ve tried a bunch of times to change my habits, but I’ve never followed through. I actually have that book, “The Power of Habits”, it’s sitting on my bookshelf half read.
This project has been very eye opening to me because I haven’t been able to name any good habits of mine. I can go on and on about my bad habits but it took a lot of thinking just to get a good habit. That’s so embarrassing.

Here’s a diagram which shoes the 3 R’s of Habit Formation: reminder, routine, and reward.
I really enjoy the articles about replacing your bad habit with something else: http://jamesclear.com/how-to-break-a-bad-habit

I have a tendency to check social media when I feel stressed out or overwhelmed because that’s an escape where I don’t have to think, or worry. However, I usually end up spending a lot of time on social media and don’t accomplish any of my work, which makes me even more stressed out. Lately I’ve been getting a lot better but I think I want to try meditating each time to feel the urge to check social media or stress eat. I just need to be careful and not fall asleep.
